Frankie Pellegrini had all the right stuff on Saturday for Capuchino Mustangs Varsity, allowing zero runs and besting American by a score of 6-0 Capuchino Mustangs Varsity secured the victory thanks to six runs in the eighth inning. Capuchino Mustangs Varsity put the pressure on, lead by a walk by Devin Meyer, a single by Pellegrini, a groundout by Nick Solorzano, and a double by Tyler Firpo. Pellegrini was the winning pitcher for Capuchino Mustangs Varsity. He went eight innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking one in only 80 pitches.

Justin Verna, Pellegrini, Firpo, Solorzano, Conor Meehan, and Nick Balch each collected one hit to lead Capuchino Mustangs Varsity.
