Capuchino Mustangs Varsity defeated El Camino 9-2 by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard on Thursday. Capuchino Mustangs Varsity got things started in the first inning when Justin Verna singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Ryan Lordier got the win for Capuchino Mustangs Varsity. He surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out three. Ryan Lapuyade and Oliver Otake entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Mathiesen led things off on the mound for El Camino. He lasted six innings, allowing 13 hits and nine runs while striking out three. Capuchino Mustangs Varsity had 13 hits in the game. Lapuyade, Tyler Firpo, Patrick Volkman, Frankie Pellegrini, and Lordier each collected multiple hits for Capuchino Mustangs Varsity. Lordier, Pellegrini, Volkman, Firpo, and Lapuyade each managed two hits to lead Capuchino Mustangs Varsity.
